This film derives from the same hungarian novel and it talks about a group of boys that want to fight against another group of boys to play. They in an old man's courtyard, but the protagonist, Nemecsek, that's 11 years old, falls ill just when his friends have to fight; so, he decides to get up in spite of his illness to help them; he and his friends win the war, but he dies and so the end is very sad!The book was written by Ferenc Molnár, while the film's director is Maurizio Zaccaro and it's set in Italy. I think this film is really sad but it's also a good teaching for coward people that run away when they find something difficult!
