Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated in Ireland on March the 17th to commemorate the patron saint of the land.
He wasn't born there but he's commemorated for some legends about him; he was known as a slave that worked as a shepherd, but he was inspired by religious contents that he decided to work for monasteries and nunneries. He was imprisoned but he was able to escape from the slavery. He returned to Ireland 'cause his dreams told him he had to come back to bring the Christianity there.
He was born in Britain and his family was well-off.
He was indicated also in his his dreams as holy boy.
This festivity is celebrated on the 8th of March to remember when in 1908 the Triangle Shirtwaist Company in USA burnt, killing lots of women that worked there. The last survivor that could tell us the story was Rose Freedman, saying women were used as slaves and, so, they died 'cause they couldn't escape from the burning room, while she found an emergency exit and escape across it. Now the symbol of the day is the mimosa 'cause there was a plant of that flower nearby the destroyed industry.
One of the most famous phenomena I'm going to talk about is Instagram; it started to spread all over the world, being used by lots of people, first of all teenagers and students to change the effect on a photo taken during a travel or a daily routine.

It started to be developped by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and it took over the Internet and every mobile phone on the 6th of October 2010.
It was added to Android in April 2012, while, in november 2013, we had the first version published on Window Phone.
These days there are 600 million people using that social.
Me too, I love it so much! I often post photos on that, like selfies on my own or with my friends, during a travel or...at school!
I've just listened a recording talking about how astronauts' brain can change with the different space travels, also for gravity's changements that let them fly or drop. This discovery seems very important for doctors that could improve their skills in this content 'cause they could discover how our neurons are connected among them. It could help future scientists for their researches and works to know something more about human brain that's considered like an "unexplored universe".
I read an article talking about the successful meeting between a homeless drug addict man and a street cat. I found it very interesting 'cause it makes us thinking about the life of these poor people, but it shows us that they've got a really gentle heart!
The man, named James, used to live busking on the street until the best moment in his life when he met a nice red cat that felt sick and he found him there everyday and so he decided to take him to a vet for a treatment. After that, the cat didn't want to leave his new friend anymore and they started to realize some spectacles together and the public were fascinated by the little cat, with the new name of Bob and he helped James very much to earn money.
I remember a lot of times I dreamt I was falling: I stayed on the top of a building (I don't know which one...maybe my school) and I fell but I didn't touch the floor because I woke up...but sometimes I fell aslept another time and I was able to go on dreaming... I know it's strange, but I can control my dreams, telling myself I mustn't be worried or afraid 'cause I'm just dreaming and I can decide when I have to wake up!
Some people think this kind of dreams mean that we feel lost and the only thing we can do to find our own way is falling or flying away. It's one of the most possible dreams: I don't know anybody that have never dreamt it during his life!
Another dream we've to describe is about being chased by a car, by an animal, by a murder...people say it could mean we're trying to run away from our responsibilities or, sometimes, we dream it when we're ansious...
Then we can dream of not to be able to run or to talk when we're in need, for example, we're in need to run because we're chased by someone but we feel our feet so heavy that we
can't or our voice can be like stopped by our throat and we wake up so confused. Maybe, it means that we have a secret to keep but it's really hard for us or we could be worried but we're frightened by talking 'cause we think it's not a good solution to our problems.
Last month, we learnt something new about literature, such as ballads, medieval and modern kinds, and we talked about their main themes, like family tragedies, and we saw, for example, Lord Randal or Barbara Allen, but also those ones by Bob Dylan. Then, we discussed about USA elections and criticized them. Now we're starting to study King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table with their deeds. We had also to do a test about literary contents, first of all about Old English and the evolution of the language with the Epic poem, starting with Beowulf.
